As the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic continues to evolve, South West Credit would like to provide you with information on our on-going efforts to manage these events and mitigate potential impacts to our operations.

While COVID-19 continues to affect many people around the world, the welfare of our customers, employees and community is paramount.

We are taking sensible precautions, including non-essential travel restrictions and enforcing quarantine periods as appropriate.

In addition, we have:

  • Coordinated management teams to activate response strategies based on business needs
  • Reviewed, and in some cases, activated portions of our pandemic plans as well as relevant business continuity plans.
  • Activated or maintaining readiness to activate a broad range of recovery strategies as circumstances dictate, including:
        -  Remote teleworking
        -  Social distancing and self-quarantine guidelines
        -  Continual staff communication and awareness
        -  Ensured communication with relevant third-party suppliers
        -  Encourage / introduce members to online banking channels

  Branch Access

The South West Credit branch currently remains open, however for the health and safety of all our customers and our team, we respectfully ask that you only visit our branch if your visit is essential. Health is our number one priority, but we also want to cause as little disruption as possible.

Therefore, if you do need to visit our branch, we ask that you:

  • Take precautions to stop the spread of germs by covering your cough or sneeze
  • Clean your hands after coughing or sneezing

Please reconsider your need to visit our branch if:

  • You have travelled overseas and may be at risk
  • You have a fever and one or more of the following symptoms; runny nose, cough, headaches, rash, vomiting, sore throat or diarrhoea

  Accessing Your Account

If you’re unable to visit our branch due to COVID-19, you can use our Banking App or Internet Banking to help you manage your everyday banking needs without having to leave home. Alternatively you can use your Visa Debit Card.

If you need assistance setting up any of these channels please contact us.

  Fraud Prevention

There is a chance that fraud may increase, as scammers take advantage of the current COVID-19 pandemic.

Please be advised that South West Credit will NEVER contact you by phone, email or SMS requesting you confirm your account or card details.

We have these details and will never ask you to provide details such as your BSB, Account Number or Debit Card details.

Please contact us immediately if you receive any suspicious communication.

  Support When You Need It

If you have a loan with us and have been directly or indirectly affected by the recent COVID-19 outbreak, you may be eligible for temporary relief.
