Branch Access

25th March, 2020:

As the spread of COVID-19 increases, South West Credit is reviewing current risks that could force our branch into lockdown.
A forced lockdown is the last thing we want to happen, therefore we need to put measures in place now to ensure we can continue to serve you throughout this difficult time.
We have identified two main risks to the operation of our branch:

  1. Cash handling
  2. Social distancing and self-isolation

Cash Handling:

We have seen many businesses refusing to accept cash throughout this pandemic. Notes and coins are notorious germ carriers, therefore by using contactless payment methods it reduces the risk of the virus being passed on unintentionally.
All it takes is one of our staff members to become infected by the virus and we will have no choice but to shut our branch and be forced into self-isolation.
The wellbeing of our customers and staff is our number one priority. The ramifications of the virus entering the branch puts all of our families and loved ones at risk.
We strongly urge you to only visit the branch if it is absolutely necessary. If your banking can be done via a contactless channel such as Internet Banking, Banking App, Visa Debit Card or phone, this would be our preference for the wellbeing of everyone.

Social Distancing and Isolation:

Social distancing and isolation is something that we all need to take very seriously. It is important you follow the recommended guidelines to reduce the risk of spreading the virus.
If you feel even slightly unwell, please do not come into the branch. You may think you have hay-fever or a common cold, but COVID-19 symptoms are different for everyone and what you think is just the common cold, could actually be COVID-19 and be potentially life-threatening for others in our community.
If you have returned from overseas, self-isolation is crucial for a minimum 14 days, please do not visit our branch during that time period.
Simple steps can stop the spread of COVID-19. Practice good hygiene, only leave your house if it is absolutely necessary and if your banking can be done by a contactless channel, then that is our recommendation, it is the safest option for all customers and staff.
Being forced into lockdown is the last thing we want to occur. Each day we put our health in the hands of the people that walk through our door. We all have a role to play in getting through this difficult time, we cannot stress enough the importance of good hygiene and following the recommended guidelines.

Warm Regards,
